The Arabic word in this henna is "triumph" with five Pesian Knots to protect a man against the Evil Eye.  IN Persian miniature paintings, archers wear henna, and in Iran and other Muslim countries, sometimes men hennaed before battle.  The henna protected them in battle against becoming polluted from contact with blood, and if they died, the henna would help make them more presentable to the examining angels.
